And while the capacity for strategic perspective may be innate for some people, they also extend and develop that capacity through experience and practice. Thus, say the authors, strategic perspective can be learned. By recognizing the elements of strategic perspective and practicing five important habits, people can develop and strengthen their personal capability in this essential aspect of leadership.
