Solving the Corporate Value Enigma: A System to Unlock Shareholder Value

This Executive eBriefing previews Solving the Corporate Value Enigma: A System to Unlock Shareholder Value, the upcoming book by SDG partners Ray Manganelli and Brian Hagen. In it they discuss why executives are often frustrated knowing their organizations are missing value but stymied about how to deliver it. The online discussion will highlight where executives go wrong looking for this untapped value, where they can find it, and how to get started quickly to unlock the potential within their organization.

Solving the Corporate Value Enigma, to be published by AMACOM in April, culminates work by SDG partners and takes a systems approach to integrating choices across the organization to create and deliver value. Based on 20 years' development of SDG's intellectual property and surveys of more than 500 executives, the book has as its premise that the average business fails to realize as much as 40 percent of its potential value. That number, which is reported by senior executives across industries, companies, and pre- and post-9/11, represents the "enigma."
