Parmit Chadha Director, India Practice
Parmit has broad consulting experience in a range of sectors, including airports, power, transport, real estate, software products and services, project engineering, consumer goods, OTC healthcare, capital goods, branded retail services, consumer appliances, paints, medical accessories, agrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Parmit has also worked on public sector strategy and policy issues in New Zealand.
His work has covered strategy development and implementation, linking strategy to related business processes including performance management systems, bid analysis and enterprise risk management.
Parmit spent several years with Hindustan Lever, the Indian subsidiary of Unilever, in the marketing function. Before joining SDG, he was the cofounder of a strategy consulting firm, which he ran for more than a decade. He has helped clients identify and exploit opportunities for profitable growth, find answers to competitive challenges, and embed mindsets and processes to power the innovation process.
Parmit received his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a bachelor of technology degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is coauthor of a column on strategy and innovation in a major business newspaper, as well as a book on investing. Recently, he has co-authored "Innovative India", published by Penguin, which explores an integrated model for organizational innovation.
