PALO ALTO, Calif. (January 24, 2008) – Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) today reported that early registration for Stanford's Strategic Decision and Risk Management program ends January 31. Participants registering for on-campus or online courses prior to that date are eligible for substantial discounts.
Eleven 2½-day courses are available through the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD). Courses are scheduled for March, June, and September 2008. Participants who successfully complete six courses (including two required courses) will earn a certificate in Strategic Decision and Risk Management.
Since the program began in 2006, nearly 500 people have registered for the program and 28 individuals have earned certificates.
Five courses are available on campus in March, with additional courses open in June and September and many courses available online.

SDG partnered with SCPD beginning in 2006 to develop the curriculum for the Strategic Decision and Risk Management program.
