PALO ALTO, Calif. – June 19, 2008 – Management consulting firm Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) today announced it is enhancing the capabilities of its Energy & Environment Practice with the election of Christopher Dann as partner. Mr. Dann is based in the Palo Alto office.

Christopher Dann has a 12-year track record in corporate strategic decision-making and planning in the energy and energy services industries. His experience includes the development of growth strategies through M&A, new ventures, and retail energy services.

He has led restructuring, commericalization, and privatization consulting engagements for private and national electric utilities in South America, Asia, and the Middle East, and he has conducted strategic planning for energy market entrants in new and emerging technologies such as distributed generation and renewable energy. Although his work has been focused primarily in energy and infrastructure, he has experience in a number of diverse industries including consumer goods and telecommunications.

Mr. Dann, who began his affiliation with SDG in 2004, was previously a principal at Charles River Associates and an associate director at Arthur D. Little.

Mr. Dann holds a master of science in economics from the London School of Economics, a bachelor of arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and he has completed the Strategic Decision and Risk Management certificate program at the Stanford Center for Professional Development. He lives with his family in Saint Helena, Calif.
