PALO ALTO, Calif. – January 25, 2008 – Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) today announced the election of Parmit Chadha, director of the firm's India Practice, to the partnership.

Parmit Chadha specializes in strategy development and implementation, linking strategy to related business processes including peformance management systems, bid analysis, and enterprise risk management.
He has broad consulting experience in a range of sectors, including airports, power, transport, real estate, software products and services, project engineering, consumer goods, OTC healthcare, capital goods, branded retail services, consumer appliances, paints, medical accessories, agrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals. He has worked on public sector strategy and policy issues in New Zealand.
Mr. Chadha spent several years with Hindustan Lever, the Indian subsidiary of Unilever, in the marketing function. Before joining SDG, he was the cofounder of a strategy consulting firm, which he ran for more than a decade.
Mr. Chadha, who joined SDG in 2003, received his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a bachelor of technology degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is coauthor of a column on strategy and innovation in a major business newspaper, a book on investing, and, most recently, Innovative India, published by Penguin Books, which explores an integrated model for organizational innovation.
Mr. Chadha is based in SDG's Gurgaon office.
