SDG pioneered the Dialogue Decision Process and introduced the concept of Decision Quality (DQ), which applies the principles of decision analysis to strategy development. In this course, you will learn to:
- Explore current organizational approaches to decision-making and the resulting failure modes
- Internalize the elements of DQ (frame, information, reasoning, alternatives, values, commitment)
- Practice the dialogue process — framing, generating alternatives, evaluation, deciding — for making strategic decisions
- Discover how to achieve organizational decision competency.
Offered through the Stanford Center for Professional Development in partnership with SDG.
