Senior Consultants and Experienced Hires
SDG hires experienced consultants from industry or from consulting firms throughout the year. Senior consultants typically have MBAs or PhDs and significant business or consulting experience since earning their degree. An experienced hire usually joins the firm at the level of senior consultant, although in some circumstances may join SDG as a senior engagement manager (a pre-partner position) or, rarely, as an incoming partner.

A senior consultant enjoys considerable control and flexibility in managing his or her career at SDG. A mix of project opportunities broadens experience and challenges intellect. Senior consultants manage aspects of client engagements and supervise business analysts and entry-level consultants. Senior consultants must demonstrate proficiency in all of the following:

- Business assessment

- Meeting facilitation
