How We Recruit
Business Analysts
We recruit recent bachelor's degree graduates possessing excellent analytic and communication skills who are interested in a fast-paced, rewarding environment for business analyst positions. We interview most business analysts in the fall during on-campus recruiting at several universities.
Associate Consultants
SDG recruits masters degree graduates with excellent quantitative skills or outstanding business skills and experience. Associate Consultants are not often recruited through university recruiting programs; instead, candidates are identified from our business analyst and internship pools. Occasionally SDG recruits associate consultants from industry and other consulting firms.
Consultants
SDG recruits MBAs, masters degree graduates, and PhD candidates at a number of highly selective universities around the globe. In most cases, our recruiting efforts are tied to the recruiting calendars at these graduate programs. In addition, throughout the year, SDG recruits from industry and other consulting firms.
"I started out at SDG as a summer intern in the Life Sciences practice. Then I went back to graduate school. But I always knew I'd rejoin SDG. It's simply the best strategic consultancy – the most challenging place to work and the opportunity to make the biggest contribution to unlocking new value for clients."

Summer Consultants
We recruit outstanding graduate students for summer consultant positions from several targeted universities.
Senior Consultants and Experienced Hires
We recruit senior consultants and experienced hires on an opportunistic basis, depending upon the needs of our industry and geographic practices. Candidates for senior consultant must possess excellent analytic and communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in leading aspects of a consulting engagement. We do not have a formal calendar for recruiting senior consultants. Interested candidates should contact the recruiting manager at the office where they are most interested in applying.
