Although two-thirds of Strategic Decisions Group's clients are headquartered in the United States, our consulting practice is growing more rapidly outside of the U.S. As a result, we have opened offices throughout the world. We are organized geographically into three primary practices.
North America
SDG's consulting practice was founded in 1981 in Menlo Park, California, near Stanford University. Over the subsequent three decades, the firm established its reputation for assisting decision makers during times of rapid change, when uncertainty and risk are great and the potential for value creation is high.
Europe and the Middle East
SDG’s first international office was established in London in 1989 and from that base our consulting staff served a growing clientele throughout Europe. In response to a growing demand for leading-edge analytical and top business advisory services in the Gulf region, SDG began serving clients in the Middle East in 1995, eventually opening an office in Beirut, Lebanon, in 2007.
India and Asia-Pacific
SDG established its base in India and Asia-Pacific in 1997, and today has a multi-sector practice across the region. Our India and Asia-Pacific consulting team has a range of experience, working successfully with multinational corporations, joint ventures, professional organizations and family businesses. Our industry experience is deep particularly in infrastructure, energy, construction, mining, engineering, real estate, special economic zones, transportation, airports, life sciences, agribusiness, chemicals, and consumer products.
