His projects have spanned development of portfolio management and resource allocation strategy, business unit strategy, expansion strategy, and bidding strategy as well as strategy implementation and organizational transformation.
Mr. Shirodkar pioneered the novel concept of strategic partnerships with rapidly growing companies to help them capitalize on the expansion in India’s infrastructure sector while building the requisite internal processes and capabilities. He has since replicated the partnership model at other clients seeking to manage rapid growth.
Mr. Shirodkar has advised boards and top management on bidding strategies to win large infrastructure and energy projects. He has supported client organizations across India, the US, Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. His client engagements include portfolio strategy and resource allocation, growth strategies, bidding and M&A, execution support, and organizational transformation.
Mr. Shirodkar has published articles in renowned international magazines and launched SDG’s internal practice development newsletter, the Strategy Quotient.
Mr. Shirodkar completed his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the VJTI, Mumbai. He heads SDG’s office in Mumbai.
