Mr. Mehra led SDG’s Life Sciences Practice in Asia Pacific for several years, where he played a key role in forging and leading SDG’s relationship with alliance partner IMS Health. He has advised innovator and generic pharmaceutical companies across most Asia Pacific and select European markets on strategic issues such as profitable growth, market access, acquisitions, divestures, licensing, due diligence, product valuation, corporate valuation, strategic planning, and entering new geographies, markets, or therapeutic areas. He has extensive experience coaching senior pharmaceutical executives on leading and managing change.

Mr. Mehra advises founders and promoters of rapidly growing Indian infrastructure companies, helping them successfully transition into billion-dollar enterprises. In an industry characterized by high uncertainty and long time horizons, he has helped clients develop strategies to meet their growth aspirations while establishing the internal competence to make key strategic decisions in the future. He has assisted clients in implementing processes for planning, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure execution excellence.

In addition to his experience in life sciences and infrastructure, Mr. Mehra has assisted clients with their strategic processes in a broad spectrum of industries, including power generation and distribution, commodities, communications, information technology, education, and high fashion.

Mr. Mehra received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Calcutta and a bachelor of technology in manufacturing sciences and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at New Delhi. He is a member of SDG’s Gurgaon office and resides in New Delhi.
